Sweet Gum Pod Pen and Pencil Set

I decided to try something a little different.  These blanks are acrylic and Sweet Gum Pods.  I stabilized the pods in a vacuum chamber submerged in hardener.  After the pods cured I poured acrylic over them and cast them in a pressure pot. The result is a pen and pencil set.
